I want coaching to remain accessible to older adults for whom the standard fee would be a genuine financial hardship. A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are available. If cost would prevent you from working with me, please ask about the affordability program.

For clients in the north Dallas–Plano area, in-person coaching may be available after an initial video Discovery Session. Sessions may take place in your home or another mutually agreed-upon public or professional setting.
(In-person sessions are never held at my home.)
Rural Families Initiative — coming in the future
America’s family ranchers and farmers do essential work: they feed us. Yet many agricultural families operate on slim margins, carrying the financial uncertainty caused by weather, markets, expensive equipment, land, livestock, and other costs that don’t disappear when income falls.
Some families are carrying an additional burden as they transition toward regenerative ranching, soil-building, or organic farming practices. Those changes may offer important long-term benefits to soil health and the resilience of the land, but the transition itself can bring additional costs, risk, labor, and years of adjustment.
The Rural Families Initiative is my commitment to make Odyssey80 coaching affordable for people who own, operate, or work on their family’s farm or ranch and depend upon that operation for part or all of their livelihood.
The people who produce our food should not have to choose between investing in the health of their land and investing in their own health.
Reduced fees are available for qualifying family farmers and ranchers. We can talk privately about what is affordable during a free Discovery Session.
Why Ranchers and Farmers Matter to Me
Ranching and farming families aren’t an abstraction to me. Ten of my aunts and uncles in southern Idaho were ranchers and farmers. I saw how hard they worked, how narrow the financial margins could be, and how little room there sometimes was for things other families took for granted—like vacations, for instance.
They were good, hardworking people, and they helped shape my respect for the families who produce our food. (And gave me a yearning for a homestead of my own someday; probably next lifetime!)
That’s one reason the Rural Families Initiative matters to me. I want family ranchers and farmers who are struggling to keep their operations viable to have access to support for their own health, too.
